Request a Room
Who is eligible
A family with a child 18 years of age or younger, who is being treated at area hospitals and lives at least 50 miles outside of the Morgantown area, may call RMHC Morgantown to request a room.
Room requests are taken from 9 am – 9 pm daily.
A RMHC staff member will take information regarding the family and the child’s condition and place the family on our waiting list. Families requesting rooms are asked to call back between the hours of 2 pm and 3 pm daily to check the status of their request. All vacant rooms are given away based on medical need.

Cost
A $12.00 per night donation is requested for each room. Medical card eligible families’ stays may be covered with their card services if prior approval is obtained from their social worker. No family is ever turned away for the inability to pay.
Other Alternatives
If a room is not available at the Ronald McDonald House, alternative lodging may be available through local hotels at a discounted medical rate. A RMHC staff member must place a family’s request with the hotel for the family to receive the medical rate. Please notify RMHC staff if alternative lodging would be acceptable and/or you would like to remain on the RMHC room waiting list.
Check-in/Out
Families may check in to RMHC Morgantown from 2 pm – 8 pm daily. Check out times vary due to families’ individual situations.
