Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours
In recognition of the members of the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce, the Ronald McDonald House partnered with Commercial Builders, Inc. to host a Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours Event. The event was held on April 16, 2008 at the Ronald McDonald House. Attendees were entertained by members of the WVU Jazz Band Program as well as greeted by the Hamburglar from McDonald’s.

Farm Bureau Food Check Out Day
Farm Bureau members from across the state collect and raise money to purchase groceries for the Ronald McDonald House. In 2008 Farm Bureau members purchased over $10,000 worth of groceries to fill the pantries and feed the families of Ronald McDonald House.

Oreck Vacuum Party
Oreck Vacuum - Uniontown, PA holds monthly parties for the Ronald McDonald House. During these time slots Oreck representatives demonstrate the current vacuums made available by Oreck – after which Ronald McDonald House benefits from 10% of the sales that occur during the next 72 hours.

Ronald McDonald House partnering with Damon’s held a meet and greet breakfast with members of the 2007 WVU Football Fiesta Bowl Champions.

Poker Run
Now in its 13th year, the Ronald McDonald House Poker Run is as strong as ever. In 2007 over 500 motorcycles participated in the 92 mile ride through the beautiful areas of Monongalia County and other surrounding counties. Stopping at 5 designated stops along the route each rider draws a card from a deck of playing cards. The person with the best poker hand at the final stop wins the grand prize of $1000.00
