Location:
RMHC Morgantown is located at 841 Country Club Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505. The facility is located within walking distance of Ruby Memorial / WVU Children’s Hospital.

Waiting List:
A family with a child (age 18 and under) who is being treated at area hospitals and whom also live at least 50 miles outside of the Morgantown area, may call RMHC Morgantown with a request for a room.

Room requests are taken from 9 am – 9 pm daily.

An RMHC staff member will take information regarding the family and place that family on our waiting list. Families requesting rooms are asked to call between the hours of 2 pm and 3 pm daily to check the status of their request. All vacant rooms are giving away based on medical need.

Rooms:
There are a total of 16 rooms available for families at RMHC Morgantown. A family may occupy only one room. According to Fire Marshall Regulations there is a limit of four people per room.

Each room is equipped with 2 twin sized beds, private bath and shower, telephone with voice mail, nightstand with lamp and alarm clock, sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are provided.

Families have access to communal areas such as a living room, 2 fully functional kitchens, dining area, game room and free laundry room.

Costs:
A $12.00 a night fee is requested for each room. Medical card eligible families’ stays may be covered with their card services if prior approval is obtained from their social worker. A family is not turned away for inability to pay.

Office Hours:
RMHC Morgantown Administrative office is open from 9 am – 9 pm daily. Our resident manager and weekend staff are available to families in case of an emergency from 9 pm –9 am daily. RMHC Families can be reached 24 hrs a day by calling 304-598-0050. After 9 pm the caller must know the families room extension number. Hospitals have the 24 hour emergency line number to located families at any time.

Other Alternatives:
If a room is not available at RMHC Morgantown, alternative lodging may be available at local hotels. An RMHC Staff member must place a family’s request with the hotel for the family to receive a medical rate. Please notify RMHC Staff that you would like to remain on the RMHC waiting list.

Check in / Checkout:
Families may check in to RMHC Morgantown from 2 pm – 8 pm daily. Checks out times vary due to the families’ individual situation.
